Starting an organization

Four steps take you from sign-up to an organization your members can use.

  1. Step 1

    Create your account

    Sign up with your email address and confirm it with the 6-digit code we send you. Then add a few profile details, such as your phone number.

    • Email and password, or Google
    • Every email address is verified
    • One account for every organization you join later
  2. Step 2

    Set up your organization

    A guided setup checklist walks you through everything, and ticks steps off as you finish them. Do it all at once or come back later.

    • Name, logo, banner and currency
    • Card payments through your own Stripe account, and cash recorded by admins
    • Roles, permissions and what members can see
    • The modules you use, such as voting, savings rotation and mutual aid
  3. Step 3

    Invite your members

    Bring people in the way that suits your organization, and stay in control of who joins.

    • Email invitations to specific people
    • A shareable invite link and QR code
    • Admins approve everyone who joins by link
    • Groups for committees, teams and cohorts
  4. Step 4

    Run everyday activities

    Everything your organization does now lives in one place that leaders manage and members can see.

    • Collect dues and record charges and penalties
    • Run savings rotations and mutual aid
    • Plan events, meetings and hosting schedules
    • Hold votes, publish announcements and share documents

Joining as a member

Members do not need to set anything up. They join, and everything about their organization is ready for them.

  1. Accept the invitation

    Open the email invitation, or the invite link or QR code your organization shared.

  2. Sign in once

    Create an account or use the one you already have. People who join by link wait for an admin to approve them.

  3. See what matters to you

    Your balance and payments, your savings turn, upcoming events, open votes and the latest announcements.

Already part of another organization?

Use the same account. Switch between your organizations whenever you like, and each one keeps its own members, money and records.
